Update: AUSSOM press release on troop evacuation and helicopter crash
African Union Troops in Somalia released press statement relating the helicopter crash on Tuesday evening and Troops evacuation at Hawadley forward Operation Base north east of Mogadishu.
AUSSOM sait that it’s troops vacated safely after floods from Shabelle River reach their Base .
the mission thanked Burundian troops who swiftly decided to leave the area after flooding and relocated nearest Base.
