Somalia Evacuates 12 Citizens from Libya.

The Federal Government of Somalia has successfully evacuated 12 Somali citizens from Libya, marking another step in its ongoing efforts to protect nationals from the perils of irregular migration.

The evacuees, who included one woman, arrived safely at Aden Abdulle International Airport in Mogadishu on Tuesday.

They were received by officers from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, who facilitated their return as part of a coordinated humanitarian effort.

This operation reflects the government’s broader commitment to safeguarding its citizens and dismantling transnational smuggling networks that exploit vulnerable individuals.
