Djibouti president Ismail O.Gulleh abstained to answer a question towards next Djibouti presidential election and whether he is candidate or not.

as Mr Ismail is 77 years old, Djibouti constitution says a person older than 75 can’t compete to the nation’s top seat.

Djiboutians will go polling stations next April and will vote for the president.

some reports say that the president is considering to change the constitution which will pave the way to his six time run for the office.

Mr Gulleh come power 26 years ago after replacing his uncle, ran 5 times , he is one of longest sitting president in East Africa, only Eritrean president is longer than him.
