Iranian parliament voted to close Hormuz

the Iranian parliament has approved the draft decision to close the sea of Hormuz, one of the most important oil export routes in the world.

Al Arabia has reported that the final decision is to be given to the highest security and military officials but the mockery should be approved.

It is said that this move was taken after the American air strike on Iran’s nuclear facilities and Tehran’s missile attack on Israel while the tensions between Tehran and Washington are getting worse.

The river Hormuz is called the blood pipe of the world energy; approximately 20-30 percent of the world’s petroleum flows through the Hormuz river.

The closure of this area will be considered as a threat to global energy security.

It is said that if the oil industry is closed, it will cause a huge increase in the price of petrol.
